Pattern is everywhere around us: in nature, in our home, in architecture, in fashion. A very simple explanation of a pattern is a repeated decorative design. More than that, pattern gives life, character, and movement to surfaces and adds visual interest to a space. Pattern has an energy that connects with people on an emotional level by speaking to them in a way words alone can’t.

Illustration is the visual depiction of a story or idea and can be used for a variety of things. Illustration is a great, simple way to express your personal or brand style. My style of illustration is organic, detailed and artistic. I am most passionate about the simple contrast of black and white illustrations, but create illustrations in color as well. Some tools I use to create illustrations are pencil, micron pen, watercolor paint, and acrylic paint depending on the style and vibe of my client’s brand or product.

Graphic design is the communication of a story or idea through a mixture visuals and text. Graphic design can easily be combined with illustration and pattern design to tell a more powerful story. My design style is clean, modern, and detail-oriented and I love to infuse my designs with patterns, textures and illustrations when possible. I have designed a little of everything from branding (logos, moodboards, etc.), brand collateral (business cards, brochure, mailers, etc.), editable PDF workbooks, order forms, and so much more. I love to create the items that your brand needs to stand out.
